FUN Acura Facts:

• The first Acura was the Legend sedan, which appeared in 1986. Shortly after, Acura introduced the Acura Legend coupe and the Acura Integra sport coupes and sedans.

• In 1990 Acura unveiled the exotic Acura NSX sport coupe. Motor Trend called it the "best sports car ever built."

• In 1991, the Acura Legend coupe won Motor Trend's Import Car of the Year trophy. Also in 1991, the Integra was voted one of Car & Driver's Ten Best.

• The Acura MDX sport-utility vehicle was rolled out in 2000. It was designed and developed at a Honda Research & Development facility in Ohio and is built in North America. Shortly after its introduction, the MDX won the Motor Trend "2001 Sport/Utility of the Year" award.

• In 2001, the streamlined Acura RSX sports coupe was introduced. It was the first Acura to employ the i-VTEC™ system.

• In April 2003, Acura introduced the 2004 Acura TSX sports sedan.

• In October of 2003, Acura announced the new 2004 TL, including HandsFreeLink™ with Bluetooth® wireless technology.

• One of the latest additions to the Acura family is the 2005 RL. And the RL is North America's first and only automobile to include a telematics system that displays real time traffic updates in select metropolitan areas.
